Philanthropy

Expressions of Gratitude and Stewardship
Each year, The Western Pennsylvania Hospital Foundation receives hundreds of generous contributions from individuals, groups, private foundations and corporations. The Foundation is the conduit through which these gifts pass on the way to their intended purpose—support of The Western Pennsylvania Hospital’s many clinical and community service programs.

Thanks to the generosity of our donors, The Western Pensylvania Hospital continues to be a leader in providing quality medical care, exceptional medical education, cutting-edge research and exemplary community support. Philanthropy is based in trust. People give because they believe in an organization and trust that their contribution will be put to good use. Many of our donors have benefited first-hand from West Penn’s medical excellence, cutting-edge research, dedicated physicians and caring professionals. Others know of the hospital’s stellar reputation and find it worthy of their support. All want to play a role in improving the lives of others.

The Western Pennsylvania Hospital Foundation is committed to the principle of accountability, to making sure that our donors’ contributions attain the end for which they were intended.

Thank you for your trust and your valued support.
