![]() As part of Allegheny General Hospital, Allegheny General Hospital – Suburban Campus (AGH-SC) is an 89-bed facility in Bellevue, serving as the provider of quality health care for residents of the North Boroughs, North Hills and North Side section of Pittsburgh.
Offering sophisticated care with the added convenience of a community hospital, AGH-SC provides a complete array of surgical, medical, rehabilitative and emergency care. In addition to offering a spectrum of advanced pediatric services, such as pediatric intensive care, pediatric orthopaedic surgery and pediatric emergency care, the facility houses the Institute for Advanced Pain Medicine and the Sleep Disorders Center. A team of orthopaedic surgeons also specialize in the areas of the foot and ankle, spine, total joint replacement and hand and upper extremities, as well as sports medicine, physical medicine and rehabilitation. AGH-SC’s Emergency Department maintains benchmark standards of efficiency and patient satisfaction, and strives to treat every patient within 30 minutes of arrival.
Along with its Suburban Campus, Allegheny General Hospital is a 754-bed academic medical center serving Pittsburgh and the surrounding five-state area. The hospital annually admits approximately 29,000 patients, and nearly 800 physicians and 4,500 employees share Allegheny General’s commitment to excellence in patient care, medical education and research. A member of the West Penn Allegheny Health System, Allegheny General Hospital is a western Pennsylvania campus for the Philadelphia-based Drexel University College of Medicine; third- and fourth-year medical students receive clinical training at the hospital.
