Library Director Library Staff Who Can Use the Library?Authorized clients of the Health Sciences Library include all staff and students of Allegheny General Hospital. The library is open to others, but services are restricted. Audiovisual and Microcomputer Equipment AvailableThe following equipment is available for use in the Library's Learning Resources Center (LRC) or the Educational Media Center (EMC) which are located across from the entrance to the HSL Library. Microcomputer Equipment and Location
All microcomputers have access to WordPerfect, Microsoft Word and various spreadsheets, dbase programs, presentation and other office and specialized software. The Health Sciences Library offers Medline, CINAHL, and other database access. Netscape and Internet Explorer are available on all workstations. All PCs connect to laser printers. |
